Justice Kevin M. Dougherty
Associate Justice, Supreme Court of Pennsylvania
Justice Dougherty, also elected in 2015, previously led both the Family and Trial Divisions of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. He has championed juvenile justice reform and programs that address mental health, addiction, and youth welfare.
A lifelong Philadelphian, he earned his degrees from Temple University and the Antioch School of Law. He is widely respected for his efforts to modernize the courts and strengthen public trust in the judiciary.
Justice Christine L. Donohue
Associate Justice, Supreme Court of Pennsylvania
Justice Donohue was elected in 2015 and has served on the Supreme Court since 2016. A highly respected voice on the bench, she’s known for her experience, integrity, and unwavering commitment to fairness.
A Pittsburgh native, she graduated from Duquesne University and Duquesne Law. She previously served on the Superior Court and has decades of experience as a civil litigator and judicial ethics expert.
Justice Donohue is a principled moderate with a reputation for clarity, balance, and respect for the Constitution.
Justice David N. Wecht
Associate Justice, Supreme Court of Pennsylvania
Justice Wecht is one of the court’s most eloquent and forceful defenders of constitutional rights. Elected in 2015, he brings elite academic credentials (Yale College and Yale Law School), experience at every level of state court, and a fierce commitment to civil liberties and open government.
A nationally recognized judicial voice, he has taken bold stances on gerrymandering, voting access, and government transparency. Justice Wecht is a critical pillar of the court’s progressive majority.
