Beyond 2025

The battle for state courts starts today with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Together we will stand up to the billionaires and conservative megadonors to make sure that Pennsylvania’s elections stay fair and open in 2026, 2028, and for the foreseeable future.

But Pennsylvania is just the beginning. The concerted effort by conservatives to take over state courts has been years in the making, and it’s going to take time to unravel their plans and restore fairness to the judiciary.

2026 is going to be another big year for state judicial elections. While the Congressional midterms will become the focus of attention for the media, the following key swing states will be electing justices to their Supreme Courts:

Arizona Supreme Court - 1 seat up in 2026 (retention)

Georgia Supreme Court - 2 seats up in 2026

Michigan Supreme Court - 2 seats up in 2026

North Carolina Supreme Court - 1 seat up in 2026

Wisconsin Supreme Court - 1 seat up in 2026
